The Mission of the SacTax Government Liaison Task Group is to act as a liaisons to monitor and facilitate communication with the various jurisdictions within Sacramento County.
Our initial focus will be the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors along with the 7-City Councils. In the future we will be expanding our focus to a wide range of “Special Districts” with significant influence over our “Quality of Life”.
The Government Liaison Groups will monitor the agendas of their respective jurisdictions and identify agenda items the community would openly support or oppose. Those items will be thoroughly researched and talking points will be provided allowing the spokesperson of the group to address the jurisdiction in public comments, by email, or in private meeting with board or council members…and finally the group will “Report-back” to SacTax the results allowing SacTax to inform the public.
